Designed by master-lure-craftsman, Brett Campbell, the new Tail Turner deep-diver is one of the most-exciting new lures to hit the barra, bass and bream markets. It is designed and shaped with a high profile to give fish a strong silhouette image. It also has a noticeable, inbuilt, buoyancy (thanks to encased air pockets) back-up system to avoid snags. However, the forward-down action of this enticing lure helps it jump the snags in any event. Another feature of the lure is the transfer weight system that allows for longer casts. The lure is also weighted just right to dive at the first crank of the handle and has the added attraction of inbuilt rattles. The Tail Turner’s bib design is a Brett Campbell first. He calls it the Diamond Lip and it features an improved tow point system that is both very strong and allows the lure a freer movement to achieve maximum action. The new Tail Turner was recently tested in Arnhemland and deep-lying barra climbed all over it. Currently available in six colours and sizes 85mm and 70mm, two smaller sizes (30 & 40mm) will be released in September this year.
