The WAECO CFX fridge/freezer range is the result of many years of research and product development by Dometic Australia. The CFX range provides extreme cooling performance and energy efficiency. The range is available in 5 sizes from 35 to 65L. The CFX-65 is available in both single and dual zone configuration.
Contributing to the extreme cooling performance and low power draw of WAECO CFX is the genuine WAECO compressor which has been purpose designed for Australian conditions and is unique to the brand. VMSO2 technology (Variable Motor Speed Optimisation) ensures optimal compressor speed according to the set temperature, and allowing the fridge/freezer to reach the set temperature faster and maintain the temperature effectively. It also spares the components causing less wear and tear.
The WAECO CFX range boasts robust hinges and lid latch, strong factory-fitted spring-loaded handles and a USB charging port. Also contributing to the efficient cooling performance and low power draw is the extra thick polyurethane insulation in the lid, sides and bottom plays. Additionally, the lid seal design incorporates a generous 10mm thick gasket with an internal air pocket, which together with the positive latching action creates a tight seal upon closing and improves the efficient cooling even further.
Due to its low power consumption, WAECO CFX is also ideal with solar operation. With the in-built 3-stage battery protection, the CFX range is perfectly suited to vehicles with a single battery.
