The photos show my boat setup so I can swap between the Waeco CFX-40 and the Waeco Cool-Ice 55L ice box. I tend to use the beaut little fridge for extended trips like fishing the Barra Nationals (7 days), and the solid ice box for day trips.
Notice the brackets welded into the floor inside the forward casting platform. The CFX-40 slots right in and is held in place. When I’m using the Cool-Ice box, the brackets hold it in place by placing it lengthwise forward. Note the 12V power connection to the side. It’s a great system with the flexibility I need.
