Designed without strakes, and built using the latest in CNC cutting technology and the best welding equipment available in the world today, the hull has the perfect amount of surface area, chine and V that allows each boat to cut beautifully through chop, hold its course in a following sea and turn hard and flat without cavitation.
This super-responsive design not only increases comfort and safety, it provides further confidence when negotiating bar crossings. The lightweight and smooth hull ensures the boat planes quickly with minimum power to get you offshore and back to port in one piece.
SUPER TOUGH
Bar Crusher boats are tough. There's no need to worry about the unavoidable knocks and bumps experienced during launching and retrieving, having a green billfish or shark thrashing about beside the boat, or navigating in rough conditions - these boats are built to handle it all.
Bar Crusher's Rigideck sub-floor system and fully-welded floor gives every boat a true commercial strength build quality.
The subframe consists of six fully-welded (not stitch-welded!) stringers which run from bow to stern. These stringers are folded, to provide additional strength and surface area for welding, and have sections of plate welded between to make the whole sub-floor into a fully boxed and triangulated frame - similar to an aeroplane wing.
This system is designed to minimise twist or racking, which is the number one cause of fatigue cracking in other aluminium boats.
For even further strength, the checkerplate floor is completely welded into the hull. It's then pressure tested to ensure each individual buoyancy chamber does its job. The result is a floor that's not only tough, it's quick and easy to clean with a simple hose out after fishing - something all anglers will appreciate!
SUPER STABLE
Bar Crusher has solved the seemingly eternal problem of smooth ride vs stability at rest with its innovative QuickFlow water ballast system. This patent-pending system is the secret to Bar Crusher's superior stability and is built into every boat.
A cavity that runs the full length of the keel (open at the transom) quickly fills with water when the boat stops, which lowers the chines into the water. This lowering of the boat sees the outer corners of the hull just sitting in the water, which provides greater stability, even in less than favourable conditions.
The ballast water is jettisoned in seconds as the boat moves forward to allow it to leap effortlessly onto the plane, faster than many other boats.
Generally speaking, a deep-V hull provides a smooth ride but results in more roll at rest. Contrastingly, a flat hull with a shallow-V has great stability at rest but is harder riding.
FUNCTIONALITY AND COMFORT
