The Zerek Speed Donkey name comes from this lure’s ability to hold in extremely well when trolling at hi-speed and its ability to attract big fish, sometimes called donkeys.
The Speed Donkey has the perfect baitfish profile for offshore, estuarine waters and big rivers where mullet and gar are found. Speed Donkey features exceptionally tough, through wire construction, 6x Mustad trebles and forged split rings to ensure speedsters like mackerel, trevally and tuna can be tamed and brutes like mulloway and barra will not tear this lure apart. Specifically designed high and low pitch rattles have been added to give this lure exceptional casting abilities and an underwater sonic profile to attract predators of all types. This makes the lure perfect for trolling in the wide open blue water for offshore fish species and also in turbid, estuarine and river waters where barra and mulloway hunt. Speed Donkey is 140mm long and capable of trolling up to 15 knots; it is available in 15 colours.
