Only 23km south of Darwin, and right on the doorstep of the Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks, Howard Springs Tavern is one of the region’s favourite spots. A genuine, friendly pub environment, the Howdy is all about good times and keeping it real: real friends, real food and more than a few laughs.
Fresh ingredients and quality meals are a big part of what makes the Howard Springs Tavern such a great destination. The Howdy menus have you covered for most of the day: lunch from noon to 2pm, early bird 2pm to 5pm, dinner 6pm to 8:30pm. The bistro also caters for functions such Melbourne Cup and Christmas. With a couple of days notice, you can order special platters for a special get-together.
The whole family can enjoy the great atmosphere. A relaxing beer garden is also on offer so you can enjoy an ice-cold drink or bar snacks outdoors and there’s a playground to keep the kids happy.
The Sports Bar caters for all tastes in sport, and features two extra large screens so you can see all the action. There are also full TAB facilities, plus Keno and pokies, so everyone is well catered for.
The thriving social club has regular functions and special promotional food and drink opportunities. There is heaps of entertainment, from live music to bingo to music bingo. There’s also the tavern’s own fishing club with regular outings.
