Expanded for 2010, the Okumna Solterra range now presents a premium-performance reel to suit anything from light bottom bashing to heavy game fishing.
The machined aluminium spool and reinforced side plates provide maximum strength where it is needed most. A magnetic drag assist/cast control (featured on the left side plate of sizes 10 and 15 only) offers an attribute that not many other lever drag overhead reels possess, allowing free spool to be adjusted and the reel to be cast if necessary.
A five-bearing system (plus instant anti-reverse on smaller sizes) and large power grip handle polish off what could be one of the greatest additions to the Okuma overhead range. The all-new larger models now include Okuma’s Patented T-Bar ergonomic handle design.
The range is available in sizes 10, 15, 20, 30, 50 and 50W, with or without level wind, in single speed or two speed and with one model in left hand configuration.
