Saltwater lure casters targeting barra, jacks, threadfin and other tough predators will be impressed by the new feature-packed Quantum Smoke Inshore baitcaster reels. The Smoke Inshore baitcaster’s one-piece frame and side plates are built from a new SCR alloy, a material designed in conjunction with marine-engine metal experts for the ultimate in corrosion resistance. Further protection is added with a SaltGuard 2.0 coating prior to the painting process, the Smoke Inshore adds a new level of toughness and durability to round out a great casting and trolling tool for big inshore saltwater fish. Inside a Smoke Inshore baitcast reel, seven polymer-stainless hybrid PT bearings, plus a continuous anti-reverse bearing ensure smooth operation and endorse Quantum Smoke baitcast reels’ reputation to deliver prodigious casting distances. Other features include an aluminium spool, ACS adjustable centrifugal cast control and a sealed stacked drag system that incorporates ceramic washers for excellent heat dissipation and smooth delivery of drag power. Blue accents denote the Inshore genre which are highlighted on the skeletonised handle fitted with lightweight EVA grips, the spool and cast control knob. Initially, Smoke Inshore baitcasters will be available in the 100 size and feature quick 7.0:1 gear ratios in both a right-hand and left-hand models. Smoke Inshore baitcasters are lubricated with premium Hot Sauce grease and oil at the factory, so they’re ready to cast further, straight out of the box.
