This exciting new bluewater rod series designed by Ian Miller compliments the Ocea Switch Bait series. They are available in one and two-piece construction depending on the model, and are extremely durable with a crisp feel, yet light to use.
There are seven rods to choose from — six spin and one overhead — designed to fish everything from soft plastics through to stick baits and poppers. The overhead lends itself equally well to lure trolling as to a live-baiting role.
Built on Shimano’s exclusive TC4 blanks where double inner layers of advanced T-Glass are over-wrapped with a spiral of high-modulus graphite, the Ocea delivers exceptionally high performance. The use of TC4 also makes the Ocea Offshore series ideal for use with braided lines such as Power Pro.
Each rod has Fuji K series anti-tangle guides, skeletonised ALPS reel seats with lined hoods, and split EVA grips. Metal trim parts and rubber gimbals are fitted on the heavier model rods so users won’t necessarily have to wear a gimbal belt.
