Just like the SSX range, Starlo doesn’t put his name behind just any product. They have to work, and most of all have to meet his high expectations of high-performance and versatility. New upgrades for 2009 include painted Fuji reel seats, attractive metal trimming and newly designed handles (spin models only).
Two new baitcast rods join the range for 2009, a Flats Cast Medium ideal for medium fresh and saltwater lure work with 4-8kg line and a Flats Cast Heavy for bigger lures with 5-10kg line. Both rods are 1.91 (6’3) metres in length, feature lightweight split-grip butt design with cork grips and an attractive painted reel seat. All baitcast models now feature a conventional guide placement (not spiral wrap).
